Alexandra Mattisson holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Stellenbosch University, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and started her career as a Project Engineer working on some of the biggest Green Building Projects in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has managed a number of IT-related projects across Africa for a large retailer and has extensive experience in tender management and loyalty programs. Furthermore, she has attained her Commercial Drone Pilots License and has gained experience in Drone Consulting, as well as Consulting and Managing Projects in the Aviation Sector. Alexandra is currently working in the Engineering Insurance field.
Alexandra has also pursued many of her creative interests, such as modeling, photography and poetry. She has self-published 3 eBooks and some of her photographs are for sale on Fine Art America. Additionally, her Art pieces are available for purchase in the Shop and can be viewed in the Art Gallery.
Alexandra’s volunteering career started in 2012 when she started the Beagle Calendar & Charity Projects with Maryna Venter, in order to raise much-needed funds for a Beagle in need, namely Obelix, who required stem cell therapy after having undergone multiple surgeries since he was 9 months old. The group evolved over the years to help support beagles in need of fostering or rescue, until they found their forever home.
Usui Reiki Master:
In 2018 Alexandra pursued energy healing through the medium of Reiki and qualified as a Usui Reiki Master. This progressed her ascension cycle, growth and healing on a quantum level.
Alexandra is currently exploring a new energy healing modality, which makes use of 12D Maharic Frequency, namely Kokoro33. After much deliberation, she has decided not to continue with Reiki, as this was only a stepping stone on her energy healing journey.
Alexandra's passion is with working with animals, which came to the forefront when she started volunteering at Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary in South Africa. All it took was 1 week and the orphaned rhinos stole her heart. She then started fundraising initiatives in her personal capacity in order to provide wishlist items for the teams at Care for Wild.
On her second volunteering deployment, she arrived with the purpose to create art for the sanctuary to auction off, which was completed successfully...as well as hand over all the sponsored items.

Through Alexandra's conservation and volunteering work that she completed in August and October 2019, she was introduced to the Veterans for Wildlife Team. She feels honoured to have met such an amazing group of people, who deserve so much assistance to complete the work they are doing in saving Africa's Wildlife. She embarked on creating art pieces for them to auction off at their Gala Event in London, combining their personal journeys while volunteering, with the animals they strive to protect every day. They put their life on the line to train rangers and are so deserving of all our support. Alexandra hopes to expand the way in which she is able to contribute to this amazing cause in future.
This is a cause that Alexandra has recently become aware of, where a herd of elephants (the Mawana Elephants) are at risk of being culled. She is currently raising awareness for this cause locally in South Africa.
